| Very good cooking. Wine a bit dear for nothing special .I don't like bills that are scribbled in handwriting and its hard to tell whether you have been correctly charged or not. Why not invest in a normal cash machine. But some of the best Indian food in Edinburgh - Malcolm Windsor |

| Although Saffrani's has a lot of fish and seafood dishes, we chose two lamb dishes - these were excellent. Surroundings are not palatial, though comfortable, service was excellent, but not many customers that Tuesday evening. We would certainly return for its authentic Indian cuisine. |
| The atmosphere in saffrani was very welcoming. The food was good although my partner did not like the sauce with his salmon which was more chinese style than Indian. That aside the other dishes were very nice and it was good value - Sharon Hunter |

| The food was absolutely delicious, and I had lemon sole in a peanut and almond sauce with lemon rice. My friends had a prawn in coconut sauce and a lamb and spinach dish. This was unfortunately marred by the appalling service we received. We were not served any food until we had been in the restaurant for over fifty minutes despite giving our order almost immediately- Mrs Kilpatrick |
