If your guests believe that you're leading them into just a curry parlour, enjoyable as that may be, they're in for a surprise at Saffrani. The decor is modern and fairly austere, because the emphasis is on the food.
It's a tiny place so group sizes max out at 20, although hiring the whole venue will allow you 30 guests. The dishes are imports and inventions, alongside beloved favourites. The menu includes dishes like starter of fresh mussel soup with tomato and green herbs, main course of marinated lamb kidneys masala, and dessert of banana fritter in rosewater syrup.
